We've been fortunate to share our lives with our furry friends from an early age, learning about sincerity, love, and fun along the way. We believe that having them enriches our lives in countless ways, and we hope you too can experience the joy and companionship that come with having a furry friend.
Wuffpack was founded by three adventurous brothers: Gerald, Chyro, and Spotty, who share a deep love for nature and the joy of exploring the world with their furry family members.
When Chyro was around nine years old, he became seriously ill. That difficult period opened our eyes and made us realize how important it is to take care of a dog's health, cherish every moment, and enjoy the limited but meaningful time we have with them. We promised ourselves that once Chyro recovered, we would live life with more intention, and thankfully, he did get better.
As a family in Bandung, we began traveling more often, taking our Daihatsu Gran Max van to peaceful lakes, lush tea plantations, mountain areas, and beaches in and around our town. These simple adventures became some of our most precious memories. We were fortunate to spend more joyful years with Chyro until he passed away from old age at 14, on December 2021, shortly after Gerald completed his studies.
Spotty, who had always been by Chyro’s side, felt the loss deeply. Dogs experience emotions too, and losing his best friend and brother affected him greatly. We did our best to keep Spotty happy, active, and comforted, giving him new experiences and more adventures to help him move forward. Spotty continued to stay with us for several wonderful years. After his 16th birthday, he developed multiple tumors. Despite careful diets, treatments, and every effort we could make, the tumors continued to grow. Due to his age and the severity of the condition, surgery was not recommended. When the tumors became too large and began spreading, we made the difficult decision to euthanize Spotty to prevent further suffering.
After 14 years with Chyro and 16 years with Spotty, we learned that a dog’s lifespan is shaped by the quality of care, joy, and companionship they receive. Their journeys taught us that physical health, hygiene, mental well-being, and shared happy moments truly matter.
Inspired by the lives of Chyro and Spotty, Wuffpack was created with a mission to help more families enjoy long, happy, and meaningful years with their pets.
